OP lost only his ElvUI profiles, my friend lost only his weakauras, I lost both and some other settings on top. It can happen with any addon that has custom setting as long as something goes wrong with your WTF folder.įor example then friend I talked about in the first response, he “only” lost his weakauras since he hadn’t been using ElvUI at the time, and as you can see it can happen to either one. When I lost my ElvUI profiles, I also lost all of my weakauras and some addons settings have reset. Not to mention this is not an issue exclusive to ElvUI.
This is only the second case including mine that I’m seeing since I started using ElvUI in early Legion. The chance of it happening is extremely low and can be entirely mitigated by backing up your settings. And that is the reason why i do not use EvlUI … it changes so many things so it is hard to see what went wrong.
